It's awesome to see companies modernize their data platforms and move to Azure. At the same time, even if you decide to build a data platform in Azure, you are NOT bound to use only native Azure services

Data Landscape project

Over the last year, I've been helping a financial services company define their data platform architecture in Azure. We decided not to limit ourselves to Azure natives services, rather look beyond, seek for best bang for the buck.
Based on my learnings, new vendors and tools discoveries, I decided to release Azure Data Landscape website.
Inspired by Linux Foundation landscape applications, I visualized Azure native and 3rd party components.
Services often go beyond their default functionalities, and fit multiple categories. Hence, the landscape tries to capture all features of a certain product or service.
